Speed first
We rebuilt the homepage as an ad-free, speed-focused theme and consolidated scattered sections, which improved speed test scores substantially. Ads stay off the homepage by design.
Content at scale — reviewed
The AI food analyzer moved from Gemini to Claude Haiku for better output at lower cost. A food publishing pipeline and a bulk recipe builder use USDA FoodData Central for nutrition values and licensed stock photos, publishing dozens of reviewed pages a day into the site’s existing recipe post type.
Monetisation done carefully
An affiliate product system was rewritten around the real product catalogue, with a dashboard and one-click importer. After a thin-content audit and quality work, the site was approved by Mediavine in October 2026.
